Features

Planned capabilities of Link’d DMR

Link’d DMR is being developed as one Android app that spans everyday cellular push-to-talk, offline mesh networking, and optional real radio bridging through compatible hardware.

Current status: Link’d DMR is currently in active development and private owner testing. Cellular PTT, offline mesh, automatic switching, radio gateways, and hardware compatibility must complete real-device and field validation before wider release.

  • Cellular PTT

Radio-style push-to-talk over Wi-Fi, 4G, or 5G with talkgroups, caller identity, and floor control.

  • Offline Mesh

Nearby Android phones are designed to form a local Wi-Fi mesh when internet service disappears.

  • CJ-1 RF Bridge

A compatible CJ-1 can add real DMR and analog RF capability and act as a gateway between phones and radios.

  • Channel Management

Organize talkgroups, channels, contacts, Radio IDs, and supported radio settings from one interface.

  • Contacts and Caller ID

Display saved user names, Radio IDs, unknown callers, talkgroups, and live call status.

  • Security-First Relay

Unverified communication paths stay unavailable instead of pretending a transmission succeeded.

Built for modern teams

Everything you need in your pocket

From live push-to-talk and Radio IDs to mesh routing and optional RF bridging, Link’d DMR brings the core controls of a field communications system into one Android app.
